Heather Doree has practiced in Calgary, Alberta since 1997 after she graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. Her ever-present thirst for learning has been quenched through several post-graduate courses. She has taken extensive additional training for hands-on manual therapy any myofascial treatment techniques and received certification with the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada in 1999. Since then she has undergone specialized training in acupuncture and soft tissue injuries.
Heather enjoys the challenges involved in diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal dysfunctions using an active approach. Having suffered many sport-related injuries she is a strong advocate for the benefits of physiotherapy for both recovery and prevention of further injury.
When time permits, this busy mother of two children enjoys volleyball, snowboarding, hiking, biking and being outdoors with friends and family.
