Heather Doree has been with THE Downtown Sports Clinics in Calgary, Alberta since 1999. She graduated from the University of Alberta in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. The ever present thirst for learning has been quenched through several post-graduate courses. She received a residence in manipulative therapy in 1999, certification with the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada in 1999, as well as specialized training in acupuncture and soft tissue injuries in 2004.
Heather enjoys the challenges involved in diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal dysfunctions using an active approach. Having suffered many sport related injuries she is a strong advocate for the benefits of physiotherapy for both recovery and prevention of further injury.
When time permits, this busy mother of two small children enjoys volleyball, ultimate frisbee, hiking, biking and being outdoors with friends and family
